Author Guidelines

Author Responsibilities

All submissions will be assessed by the committee to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of APCS 2027. Those considered a good fit will be sent for peer review before a decision is made.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may decline a submission that does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own.

Submission Overview

The APCS 2027 submission process begins with the submission of an original abstract. Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format, either Oral or Poster, during the submission process. The final presentation format will be determined by the Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee based on the review result, academic program structure, and session planning.

After abstract review, accepted authors will be guided through the next submission stage. The stages that follow acceptance, including the final abstract and the optional full paper track, are described on the Important Dates page of the APCS 2027 website.

Submission Process

1. Submit Original Abstract — Authors submit the original abstract through the APCS 2027 submission system.
2. Abstract Review — Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the relevant committee members.
3. Notification of Acceptance — Authors will be notified of the review result according to the official schedule.
4. Final Abstract / Full Paper Stage — Accepted authors proceed with the required final submission. See the APCS 2027 website for which stages apply and when.
5. Registration — Submission and registration are separate processes. Accepted presenters must complete registration and payment to confirm participation and be included in the final program. Authors are encouraged to register as early as possible after acceptance to avoid delays in program assignment.
6. Program Assignment — Final session allocation and presentation schedule will be arranged after the registration and program confirmation process.

Presentation Format

Authors may select a preferred presentation format at the time of abstract submission:

• Oral Presentation
• Poster Presentation

Please note that the selected format is a preference. The final decision on Oral or Poster presentation assignment will be made by the conference committee after review.

Authors will be asked to provide the required information through the online submission system. The required items may include:

• Paper title
• Author and co-author information
• Affiliation and contact information
• Keywords
• Abstract text or abstract file
• Preferred presentation format: Oral or Poster
• Additional notes or files, if requested by the submission system

All submission deadlines are published on the Important Dates page of the APCS 2027 website. Deadlines are not repeated here so that there is only one schedule to keep current.
